The 4th grade will celebrate Grandparent’s Day on Wednesday, September 7th. In celebration of Grandparent’s Day, we are creating a grandparent museum in our classroom. Students are asked to bring in three to five items that represent their grandparent(s). For example, it could be an item such as a stuffed animal or figurine given to your child by his or her grandparent. It could be an item that belonged to your child’s grandparent. Some items that have been brought in from previous years are baby shoes, a letter jacket from high school, quilts, etc. Even a picture of these special family members will do. We are asking that all items be brought in by Wednesday, September 7th (earlier would be even better). On that day we will set up our museum so that our guests may enjoy a look into the past. Please see the schedule below for that day so you can remind any grandparents who plan to attend.
